The Cathedral opens at 11.00am and closes soon after Mass and Confessions
Sunday 9.30am and 11.30am Mass
The Cathedral opens at 9am and closes soon after the 11.30am Mass
Monday to Friday: 12.15pm
The Cathedral opens at 9.30am and closes at 3.30pm
Holy Days of Obligation
Times as announced on the previous weekend and on the newsletter and the homepage of the Cathedral website.
Bank Holidays
Mass is at 10.00am
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
Each day from 11.30am to 12.00noon Monday to Friday (alongside Confession and prior to Mass)
Confessions (depending on cathedral events)
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available at the following times:
Monday to Friday before the 12.15 Mass (11.30am to 12noon)
Saturday after the 4.30pm Mass
Chapter Masses
His Grace the Archbishop presides in the Cathedral at Chapter Masses; usually the first Tuesday of the month, on the Feast of St Chad (2nd March), Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Easter Vigil, Easter Monday, the Solemnity of Christ the King which is the Annual Civic Mass, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception (8 December) and the Mass during the Night at Christmas.
