There is very limited car parking on the main St Chad’s Queensway, but there are a number of disabled parking spaces.
Our Cathedral has a car park with limited spaces especially on big occasions. However there are a number of car parks in the area, including opposite the Cathedral and in the surrounding area.
It is also good to note that car park and the Cathedral are on two quite different levels. Access to the Cathedral is either by steps or you might find it easier to exit the car park on foot and walk left and around the building to the main doors.

The Car Park gates can be closed at any time outside Mass times, so please do not presume to park at the Cathedral for other purposes without prior arrangement.
The nearest train station to St Chad’s Cathedral is Snow Hill Station which is approximately 5 minutes’ walk.
The nearest metro stop to St Chad’s Cathedral is St Chad’s.
If arriving at New Street Station, it is a good 20 minute walk to St Chad’s Cathedral. Alternative means are the metro which stops at New Street Station and St Chad’s Metro stop or taxi.
From Digbeth Coach Station, it is approximately 30 minutes’ walk to St Chad’s Cathedral. You should consider taking a taxi for this journey.
From Colmore Row where many buses stop, it is just under 10 minutes’ walk to St Chad’s Cathedral.
