24 Hour Vigil: 24 Hours for the Lord (4th – 5th March) – Pope Francis has called the whole church to celebrate 24 hours for the Lord on Friday 4th to Saturday 5th March 2016 to recognise and promote the Sacrament of Reconciliation as the Sacrament of the New Evangelisation involving Eucharistic adoration and opportunities to celebrate the Sacrament. We shall have two periods prayer to enable more people to attend rather than open throughout the hours of darkness. These will be from 7.00am to 7.00pm on Friday 4th March, with Mass at 12.15pm. Following Mass, exposition will continue until 7.00pm. Confessions will be available as normal. Adoration will continue from 10.00am to 10.00pm on Saturday 5th March with breaks for Masses at 10.00am & 4.30pm. Confessions will be available as normal with an additional number of priests assisting from 8.00pm on Saturday evening.
