Organ Concert by Vincent Grappy – Wednesday 18th June 2014 at 7.30pm in the Cathedral.

Vincent Grappy was born in Blois in 1974 and studied organ at the Orléans National Music School with François-Henri Houbart, then at the Conservatoire supérieur de Paris-CNR with Marie-Claire Alain, before joining Louis Robilliard in Lyon at the Regional Conservatory where he won the first Prize in virtuosity in 2001. In 2002, he won the Second Interpretation Prize at the International Organ Competition awarded by the City of Paris and in 2004 the Second Interpretation prize at the Chartres International Organ Competition.

Vincent Grappy is currently titular organist of Blois Cathedral where he presides at the marvellous Merklin organ.
