Once again this year we will be lighting St Chad’s cathedral in Red in support of Red Wednesday. By joining in prayer, by lighting the Cathedral in red, and by wearing red each of us will be doing something peaceful and positive to highlight the suffering – injustices, discrimination, violence, oppression, torture and death – of so many Christians and others today which goes largely unnoticed by the world.
